Eljays44 is an Events, Media and Publishing business based in Rustington. We are looking for a Sales Executive to work across our awards, job board and market research brands in an exciting new role within the company.

The ideal candidate is a motivated, well-organised individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients. You will be working in a fast –paced environment and be responsible for selling entries and tickets for awards, fulfilling market research projects and also the sales and fulfillment of our leading industry job board.

Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pm, Fridays 8:30am – 1:30pm)

Person specification:


  • Previous experience in B2B sales, promoting and new business calls
  • Strong administration skills; experience of MS Office
  • Understanding of questioning techniques and the ability to draw out key information from conversations
  • Experience in cold calling, telesales, rapport building and following up on potential leads
  • Ability to self-manage and proactively take on new projects.
  • Take initiative to drive our brands and display perseverance to achieve monthly targets
  • Competitive nature with a high-level of attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and determination to succeed
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Including the confidence to present new and exciting opportunities to clients over the phone and face-to-face


  • Previous experience in media sales
  • Knowledge of the horticultural industry
  • Full UK driving licence

The primary location of this role is office-based however, you may need to travel to various locations to meet with clients/attend events, as per business requirements.
