At Glendale, we have a great new opportunity for a Contract Manager based in the South West of England to support the Head of Operations in the day-to-day grounds maintenance operations of the Contract, planning the tasks and resources to ensure a high-quality, efficient and safe service. This position is for a Manager who wants to grow and progress with the business.

Who are you?
  • A self-motivated Contract Manager with perseverance and an entrepreneurial appetite.
  • The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record of managing Grounds Maintenance teams, being able to drive productivity and ensuring that the workforce provides a quality service.
  • A strategic outlook driving continuous improvement and efficiencies
  • A good understanding of Microsoft Office / Google systems would be preferred.
A Glimpse into the Role awaiting You:
  • This is a hands-on role involving taking the lead on the delivery of our teams in the area, monitoring the progress of teams on-site and taking quick and effective action to maintain both high productivity and client satisfaction.
  • Responsible for the Contract accounts and production of weekly and monthly reports.
  • Organise staff and teams to deliver the service
  • Recruitment of  both seasonal and permanent staff
  • Liaison with Client Officers
  • Overseeing system compliance and quality checks
  • Organising teams and rotas
  • Taking a leading role in health and safety
