Job Description:

 
Soft Landscape Site manager – Salary up to £41,000 per annum
This is a Site based role to complete projects to the contracts managers plan, ensuring Health and Safety, profit, productivity and quality targets are achieved. To effectively manage and discipline site behaviour and timekeeping of employees under your control at the time. Maintaining good relationships with clients and maximising efficiency of all resources.

Desirable Requirements:
  • SMSTS
  • CSCS
  • Full UK Driving licence
  • Self-motivation with the ability to use own initiative
  • Be able to demonstrate suitable experience in related discipline
  • Have suitable experience at a Site level of suitably large or complex projects
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent commercial management skills and awareness
  • Good administration skills
Responsibilities:
  • Application and conformance to company ethos and a strong display of company values
  • Achieve agreed gross profit margins
  • Ensure that foreman and subcontractors have understood and are effectively implementing the Contract manager’s programme and suggest improvements
  • Carry out initial induction to the information in the site file, including health and safety plan and contract information
  • Checking site discipline such as time keeping, conformance to health and safety and behaviour on site
  • Liaising with clients and maintaining good relationships
  • Site security
  • Inspection and management of plant, equipment and materials coming onto site
  • Motivating employees under your control
  • Create necessary level 2 planning (i.e. day to day and week to week)
  • Requesting plant, equipment and materials for site and off hiring the items
  • Planning and organising the resources and allocating between jobs
  • Briefing foreman to carry out duties in the absence of the site manager
  • Input to systems improvement
